The Parish President will proclaim September 30th as Childhood Cancer Awareness Day throughout Lafourche Parish. Students who purchase a shirt will be allowed to wear it to school on Friday, September 30th, in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness. All students will need to bring to school is a charged Chromebook, charger, and a bottle of water and/or lunch bag. All other electronic devices should stay at home. If brought to school they will be collected in homeroom and returned at 2:30pm.

Family Engagement Activity: Come enjoy viewing our art students work and do a narrative writing sample with your child on April 23rd in the GMMS cafeteria from 5:30pm-6:30pm. Narrative Writing task are one of the three ELA LEAP test type prompts. Students and parents will be able to write about their summer plans/bucket list on snow cone cutouts that will be used for a summer count down bulletin board.
